Why this Terraplanter?
Crafted entirely by hand using Indian terracotta, this unique planter uses the natural porosity of clay to slowly diffuse water from the inside out. As the water evaporates on the surface, it naturally cools the planter—an ideal environment for humidity-loving plants like mosses and ferns.
One of the most common causes of plant death is overwatering or underwatering. The Himadri Terraplanter eliminates this issue by allowing you to water only the internal chamber. The outer surface stays gently moist, providing a balanced, breathable environment for your plants.
Whether it's a windowsill, balcony, or coffee table—this planter fits effortlessly into your space. Placement should be based on plant needs (e.g., orchids and hoyas prefer bright, indirect light).
You can also add hydroponic nutrients to the inner water chamber—just remember: less is more.
How to Use:
Rinse and clean all parts of the Terraplanter.
Tie or press your epiphytic plants (like moss, ferns, or air plants) onto the surface.
Fill the inner reservoir with clean water.
Close the lid to prevent dust and insect entry.
Mist the plants regularly for the first few days to help them adapt.
Add nutrients to the water if needed—but sparingly.
Care Tip:
Check the moisture level of the surface occasionally and refill the water reservoir as needed. Rotate for even light exposure if placing near a window. Bring home this one-of-a-kind, eco-conscious planter and watch your green companions flourish with ease.
